- Fiberglass lamination can be applied to concrete surfaces, such as wastewater sumps or chemical bunds, to prevent chemical pitting. It can also be laminated onto metal surfaces, like those in tankers or process tanks, to prevent corrosion. As professional fabricators, we inspect completed tanks for pinholes using a spark tester.
- Composite products made of Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) are considered modern materials due to their adjustable characteristics like high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent thermo-mechanical properties, and superior corrosion resistance.
- FRP is lighter than metal, reducing labor and installation costs. It also speeds up construction, minimizing environmental impact.
- FRP composites are highly resistant to corrosion and rot, offering a long, efficient service life with minimal maintenance.
- Installation of steelwork, piping & structural work.
- Scaffolding erection, dismantle, loading & unloading onsite.
Expert Engineering and Fabrication Services in Fiberglass
Fiberglass (FRP) is a seamless, versatile, and durable material with excellent resistance to chemicals, making it ideal for use in corrosive environments. It can be molded into a wide range of shapes and sizes to meet specific needs.
Greentech Alpha specializes in the fabrication of various types of FRP tanks for applications in processes, chemical storage, and wastewater treatment. Our tanks are available in both rectangular and cylindrical designs. Cylindrical tanks are produced using the filament winding technique, and with two filament winding machines, we can meet the increasing demand for high-quality tanks. FRP tanks with a diameter of up to 4 meters are prefabricated in our workshop, while larger tanks are constructed onsite using vertical winders. These cylindrical tanks can feature flat or dome-shaped tops, with sloped, conical, or flat bottoms. Rectangular tanks are fabricated using the hand-lay technique and are typically reinforced with mild steel for added strength. Custom accessories, such as ladders, platforms, and handrails, can be added upon request.
Fiberglass lamination can also be applied to concrete surfaces, such as wastewater sumps or chemical bunds, to protect against chemical damage and pitting. Additionally, it can be laminated onto metal surfaces, like tankers or process tanks, to prevent corrosion.
As a professional fabricator, all completed tanks undergo rigorous inspection for pinholes using a spark tester, ensuring the highest quality standards.
